To secure admission for MBBS in Russia, students must meet basic academic criteria set by medical universities. Aspirants should have completed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB) from a recognized board. A minimum of 50% marks in PCB is required for general-category students, while those from reserved categories may qualify with 40%. For Indian students, qualifying NEET is compulsory as per NMC rules, ensuring eligibility to pursue medical studies abroad and practice in India after completing the degree.
2. Age Limit, Documents, and Additional Requirements
Students applying for MBBS in Russia must be at least 17 years old by December 31 of the admission year. Required documents include a valid passport, 10th and 12th mark sheets, NEET scorecard, passport-size photos, and a medical fitness certificate. Some universities may also request an HIV test report or birth certificate for verification. Russia does not require IELTS/TOEFL, making admission easier for international students. Meeting all these requirements ensures a smooth admission process and a hassle-free start to your medical education in Russia.
