Direct Admission in MBBS Without Neet in Russia

1. Can You Get Direct Admission in MBBS Without NEET in Russia?

Many students wonder whether NEET is mandatory for MBBS admission in Russia. While Russian medical universities do not require NEET for admission, Indian students must qualify NEET if they want to practice in India after completing their MBBS. Universities in Russia offer direct admission based on 10+2 PCB marks without any entrance exam, making the process simple and hassle-free. Students who do not qualify NEET can still enroll, but they will not be eligible for FMGE/NExT licensing in India.

2. Eligibility Criteria and Documents Required for Direct Admission

To apply for MBBS in Russia without NEET, students need to have completed 12th with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology, scoring at least 50% (40% for reserved categories). Required documents include passport-size photos, 10th & 12th mark sheets, a valid passport, birth certificate, and a medical fitness report. Even without NEET, students can secure seats easily because Russian universities follow a no-donation and no-entrance-test policy. However, students aspiring to return to India as licensed doctors are strongly advised to clear NEET before or during their studies.
